The Digital Leadership and Culture team is excited to facilitate two events at Digifest 2025.
How digital leaders meet tomorrow
We’re hosting a panel discussion entitled “How digital leaders meet tomorrow” with previous participants from Jisc’s Digital Leaders programme. Martin Wheatley (Leeds City College), Siobhan Wilson (Coleg Gwent), Ian Broadfoot (Exeter University) and Tamsyn Smith (Southampton University) will share insights on the challenges and opportunities of leading digital change since completing the programme.
Co-hosted by Dan Hughes and Deborah Baff from Jisc’s Digital Leadership and Culture programme, the panel will explore the five Digifest 2025 themes:
- Data-informed education
- Student success
- Learning for the future
- Technology for good
- Collaboration for impact
“I’m really looking forward to chatting with our amazing digital leaders. They have such a wealth of expertise to share from across the HE and FE sectors.” Deborah Baff
Community Hub – Digital Leaders of the Year
We’re also hosting a Community Hub session; “Digital leaders of the year.” It’s a great opportunity to come and meet other digital leaders from the forum in real life and reflect on those that have inspired and why they stand out.

“Digital leaders are working hard across the country and whilst we can meet online, it’s much rarer to have the opportunities to meet in-person and to connect with people we don’t already know. The Community Hub was one of my favourite spaces at last year’s Digifest as a space to see where the conversations take you.” Dan Hughes
